Flint Hill scored twice in the first inning, and it took the Quakers four innings to equalize, when Tommy Levy led the fourth inning off with a blast that went over the scoreboard and landed on 37th Street.

After giving up two in the first, starter Owen Liu-Bailey pitched four scoreless innings and reliever Daniel Piho kept things even heading into the bottom of the sixth. In the bottom of the sixth, Levy led off with his second home run of the game, giving Sidwell their first lead of the game. Later in the inning Karsin Patel hit a sacrifice fly, which added an insurance run.

Unfortunately, the Quakers couldn't hold the two-run lead in the top of the seventh, instead surrendering five runs, which turned a two-run advantage into a three-run deficit. Johnny Klug came in under pressure to face one batter and stop the bleeding, and he ended up earning a W for a successful effort.

In the bottom of the seventh, Teddy Friedman led off with a sharply hit ball to the right side, which the second baseman couldn't handle; Amir Smith walked; and Tommy Levy caught his fifth barrel (and recorded his fourth hit) of the day to score the Quaker's first run of the inning. After Daniel Piho struck out and Liu-Bailey walked, the bases were loaded for Tanner Drant with one out and the Quakers trailing by two. And, on a 1-1 count, he confidently laced a signature back-side line-drive double over the second baseman. Liu-Bailey took off on contact and scored from first, securing an awesome walk-off win for Sidwell.
