In this one-run game, Sidwell Friends made a number of avoidable mistakes on the bases which cost several runs. Additionally, the team failed to put the ball productively in play in three separate innings in which there were runners in scoring position with fewer than two outs; the team stranded seven runners in scoring position over the course of the game. Frustratingly, any one of six or seven routine plays (offensively or defensively) would have made the difference. There were several notable extra-base hits, including triples by Andrew Rabinowitz and Nate Freishtat and a double by Erik Pederson; unfortunately, each came with no one on base.
