The Quakers played Geogetown Prep in a tight game through four innings, on the back of a solid pitching performance from Will Phillips, focused defense, and a few spectacular, full-extension diving plays from second basemen Lance Duncan. Unfortuately, the Quakers were not able to sustain the high level of engagement and went from closing the score from 4-0 to 4-2 in the bottom of the third, to a final score of 11-2 in favor of the visiting Hoyas.
