Sidwell continued its mid-season slide at Riverdale Baptist on Friday afternoon, losing to the host Crusaders by a score of 11-5. The Quakers dug themselves into a hole they couldn’t climb out of early on, plagued by eight errors from nearly every position. Such lapse of focus calls for better coaching, better practices, and a renewed sense of what it takes to compete. The program will quickly wash this loss away with the rain, finish up what was a great team bonding week of spring break, and hit the road again against St. John's on Tuesday.
