Sidwell cruised to a 12-1 victory in the 2025 season opener. The pitching was by committee -- and the offense was too, with seven different players recording hits. Half the team's hits were for extra bases, including Tommy Levy's first career homerun and back-to-back-to-back doubles in the first inning (Daniel Piho, Tanner Breslin, and Owen Liu-Bailey).
The team has a few things to clean up in practice on Monday related to preventing "free 90's" for the opponent (three walks and three errors given today) and some mistakes in situational base running. But, it was a solid effort for the team's first official game.
