A happy and prolific day for the Quaker offense was obscured by a seventh inning push by Georgetown Day to close a seven-run deficit. The team left the field a bit shell shocked. But, as Athletic Director Micheal Square said after the game: "You only have to win by one!"

Offensive highlights included Porter Speece's first home run of the season, a 4-4 day for Daniel Piho, a three-barrel day for John McMurray, and a clutch, two-out, RBI line-drive hit from Jay Horton.

Cody Encarnacion went nearly five innings for the Quakers to record his second win of the season. And, Piho earned his second save of the season -- this time in a high-pressure situation.
