Sidwell dropped the second game of the afternoon double-header against St. Albans, losing 1-3. Despite five innings of solid work on the mound by Sam Lipscomb and a good inning of relief by Derek Levinson, Sidwell was only able to muster two hits and a single run against a crafty St. Albans lefty who pitched a complete game. Though Sidwell was able to bring the tying run to the plate in the seventh, the Quakers were only able to push one run across and lost the pitchers' duel by two runs.
