TOP 1
Avery Schoenberger steps up to the plate to lead off for Sidwell. A strong fight against a nasty curveball ends in a clean 4-3 ground out. Sammy Singer pokes s little 350-footer to left center resulting in a double for the team. Tyrone Patterson meets a fate similar to that of Avery, as does Ethan Kohn. The inning ends with Sammy stranded at third, the score still 0-0.

BOTTOM 1
>Tyrone starts the game at the mound
>A walk moves the lead-off batter to first.
>Double moves the runner around the bases. He tries for home but is gunned down by Ethan Kohn, who makes a spectacular throw from left, and Bruetman applies a terrific sweeping tag. 1 out.
>Single brings the previous batter in for the first run of the game, 1-0.
>Tyrone forces a swinging strikeout for the the second out of the inning.
>Single puts a second runner on base
>The next batter takes a ball to the body, leaving all bases occupied
>A passed ball results in a run for Van Buren, 2-0
>Avery comes in to relieve Tyrone, who moves to play at second base.

Ethan "Redbird" Kohn comes up to the plate and hits a pop fly to the right fielder. With two outs, Stephanie Everett comes up to bat, but strikes out to end the top of the fifth.

>Max "The Goatee" Kohn forces a groundball to short. Logan "I Can't Shout" Mattiesen guns the runner out at first for the first out.
>Max plunks the next batter with a nasty pitch to the leg.

>Max battles with the batter, eventually leading to a walk. Bases loaded
>Single scores two and a passed ball puts the Quakers down by 10. Game ends early by a score of 3 to 13...and it is an anti-climactic end to a productive trip.
