Sidwell lost an ugly game to The Heights, 11-13.
After the first four Heights batters of the game reached base, starter Chase Plebani settled down and threw four terrific innings, mowing down batter after batter. He struck out 10, while only walking three and allowing a single hit. Unfortunately, after Plebani was relieved once he hit his pitch count limit, the bullpen imploded and Sidwell blew its sizable 8-2 lead, mostly off of walks, but a few unfortunately timed errors were also costly.
On a positive note, the Quakers hit well with seven different players recording hits, mostly on line drives hit to the outfield.
