The Skinny: A Tough game for the Quakers, who lost in heartbreaking fashion despite outplaying the Potomac overall.
Synopsis: Junior Mark Ossolinski had a terrific outing for Sidwell, allowing only 1 earned run over 5 innings while striking out 7, consistently keeping Potomac hitters off-balance. After falling behind 2-1 in the first, the Quakers built a 4-run lead on a number of solid hits
Unfortunately, some untimely errors plagued the Quakers in the 6th, and the Potomac bats came to life in the bottom of the 7th, mounting an impressive game-winning rally.
Analysis: Sidwell's hitting was strong, posting 6 runs despite striking out 11 times.
Looking Ahead: Hopefully the Quakers can lessen their strikeouts and score even more runs next time against Potomac at home on April 16th
